Failure to complete these courses and timely file your certificate can have a negative impact on your discharge.  In fact your case may be dismissed and you will be precluded from filing your casue for another 180 days.

You must take the counseling course within 180 days prior to the filing of your petition.  After the petition is file you must take the Financial Management Course and also file that certificate prior to discharge.
